I like to keep myself busy around Reno...It is certainly the only way to stay sane. I painted these two murals (actually stencils) on the side of Junkee's Clothing Exchange (located on the corner of Sierra St. and Virginia) in May 2010. What an experience! (somewhat true, somewhat sarcastic) I would really like to get better at stenciling and use it more often, espeicially for large scale projects. The problem with these stencils is that they are on brick walls... so a LOT of the detail from the stencils is lost. Which is a bummer. Next time i wont spend hours and hours and hours painstakingly carving out detail for something that goes on a brick wall. That's all. lesson learned. moving on.
